How do I delete my account?

When you delete your account, your profile and your other information will be permanently removed and you will not be able to recover them. If you'd just like to take a break, you can temporarily disable your account instead.


To permanently delete your account:

  1. Click in the top right.
  2. Click Privacy and Security on the left.
  3. Scroll down, then click Permanently Delete My Account.
  4. Select an option from the drop-down menu next to Why are you deleting your account? and re-enter your password. The button to delete your account will be clickable only after you've selected a reason from the menu and you've re-entered your password.
  5. Click Permanently Delete My Account.
